India Is Known For its Incredible Diversity And Regional Cuisine

There is a huge amount of diversity in the country’s cuisine. North India is known for its clay oven Tandoor dishes, East India is famous for seafood delicacies and South India is known for its mouth watering dosas. South India tours typically include a tasting or sampling of all famous South Indian specialties. Similar going on a Rajasthan tour would mean eating the tastiest vegetarian food. This Indian state is the second biggest in the country and has the best palaces and forts that history can boast of. Rajasthan sees a lot of visitors from all over the world in October and November when the colourful Pushkar camel fair is held. Some travellers like to witness this fair and therefore include it in their Rajasthan tours.

Apart from the most beautiful and serene monasteries travelling to Ladakh would mean witnessing natural and barren yet stunning landscapes. Ladakh travel and tour is primarily done by road or air. Trekking enthusiasts consider Ladakh to be a heaven as they are able to experience nature in its true form. Short treks are made by visitors to experience the sheer beauty of the mountains and the small villages. End of June right up to mid October is the time that treks are usually conducted. Travellers must be fully aware of the local traditions, culture and beliefs of Ladakh in order to gain the respect and the cooperation of the locals. Most treks can be organized through travel agencies who usually provide a guide, packhorses, supplies and food.
